The bicycle cushion is a bicycle accessory that directly contacts the buttocks when riding. It consists of 4 parts and can be divided into two types. Narrow and slender hard seat cushion. This narrow hard seat cushion is commonly found in sports bikes and is designed for high-speed cruising. Large and soft comfortable cushions, such cushions are more common in entry-level vehicles or leisure-oriented bicycles, and are designed for slow cruising.
Bicycle cushions can be roughly divided into two types:

When the pedaling speed is fast, the wide cushion is easy to rub the inner thigh and pain, and it also affects the pedaling action, so the design is slender and narrow. The soft cushion cannot hold the body firmly and affects the pedaling efficiency. The buttocks are like a sofa. The soft cushion has a large contact area with the buttocks. If you step on it quickly, the buttocks will move all the time and cause pain due to excessive friction.
The types of bicycle cushions are mainly classified according to the type of bicycle. Bicycles with different functions require different cushions. Road bikes, mountain bikes, children’s bikes, daily commuter bikes, etc., have different requirements for seat cushions.
